2. Shaft automotive components

Shaft automotive components include flange shaft, angular gear, hub bearing, etc. The forging process will be as follow:

 

Sawing or shearing -- bar heating -- automatic roll forging blank -- CNC hammer or electric screw press forming -- cutting edge of press

 

The equipments involved include band sawing machine or precision bar shearing machine; intermediate frequency heating furnace; automatic roll forging machine; CNC hammer or electric screw press; trimming press

 

The advantages of this process:

The bulk of shaft forgings, the key process is the main material, and using oblique rolling. The section shrinkage rate is generally not more than 75%, and the cross-section diameter variation is generally no more than 50%, so the diameter ratio of the big head of the forging can be up to 5-6 times. When the big head upsetting, the ratio of height to diameter is no more than 2.5, and the stroke of the electric screw press and the numerical control hammer is larger, which is suitable for putting in and out of the long forging

 

3. Connecting rod components

Process is as follows: sawing or cutting blanking - rod heating - roll forging machine pre-forming - CNC hammer or electric screw press forging forming - press for trimming

 

The equipments involved include band sawing machine or precision bar shearing machine; heating furnace; roll forging machine; numerical control hammer or electric screw press; trimming press.

 

The advantages of this technology: roll forging machine + CNC hammer (or electric screw press) production line can not only realize automatic production, but also the utilization rate of material is quite high, and the quality of forgings is high.
